Even with Bitlocker enabled, you can recover your data easily. You can download the ISO file from Microsoft for free. If you have an older computer, you should <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/software-download\/windows10ISO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download Windows 10<\/a> with the media creation tool. In this tutorial, we use Windows 11 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/software-download\/windows11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download from here<\/a>), but the steps are mostly the same.<\/p>\n<p>Select the edition for Windows 11 with the wizard on the website and download the ISO file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/windows_boot_en_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"367\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25088\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/windows_boot_en_1.png 598w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/windows_boot_en_1-300x184.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Create_bootable_USB_drive_with_Windows_ToGo\"><\/span>Create bootable USB drive with Windows ToGo<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Now we create the bootable USB drive. Start Rufus and select your USB drive and the ISO file. You are being asked what edition of Windows you want to use. You now have to boot from it. So call up the boot menu or go into the UEFI\/Bios section and select boot from USB. Usually, you have to press a certain key during boot. Follow the steps through the wizard. Here you can now access the internal disks of your computer.
