Yes!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of my USB hard drives is encrypted with Bitlocker. Bitlocker is a Windows or Microsoft technology and I wondered if it was somehow possible to open it in Linux. In the end it was easier than I thought.<\/p>\n<h2>Mount Bitlocker in Linux<\/h2>\n<p>Bitlocker-encrypted data carriers can be opened in Linux; when opening them via the file manager, a password is requested. However, the default password does not work here. The recovery key is required for opening. Unfortunately, the option &#8220;Remember password&#8221; did not work for me, so the key has to be entered again and again.
