How do I connect to a Windows share in Linux?<\/p>\n

My netbook should connect to my NAS. This is done with the following command:<\/p>\n

\r\nsudo mount -t cifs -o user=da -o noperm \/\/100.82.252.6\/datacenter \/home\/andy\/datacenter\r\n<\/pre>\n
If necessary, the “cifs-utils” must be installed if they are not already installed. The whole thing must be started with “sudo” and root rights.<\/p>\n
We specify “cifs” as the type, and with the option “-o2” we pass the user name. There is another option “noperm”. This is a small workaround, without it we could only use the share for reading, because the root mounts the thing.<\/p>\n
The target server and share name follow, followed by the folder in which the share is to be mounted.<\/p>\n\n
