By default, the setting &#8220;Use all monitors for remote session&#8221; can be activated in the Remote Desktop Connection.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"494\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-53527\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_1.png 407w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_1-247x300.png 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this case, all available monitors are used. If you have more than two, you may want to use only some of them. This is no problem, but is not offered in the graphical user interface.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ReRZ6RpTcUc\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For the setting, we have to save the configuration first.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"494\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-53531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_2.png 407w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/remote_2-247x300.png 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We then execute the command &#8220;<code>mstsc \/l<\/code>&#8220;. We can make the assignment via the resolution. Then we edit the .rdp file with an editor.<\/p>\n<p>Here we insert a new line:<\/p>\n<pre>\r\nselectedmonitors:s:0,4\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>0 and 4 are the monitors we want to use from the list. Then we can open and activate the remote desktop connection with a double click.
