Replaceable battery, but no spare battery can be found.<\/p>\n

A few years ago I bought a Rollei 550 Touch, which in principle still does its job. However, the battery is now quite weak and a second battery would not be bad for travelling.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately not so easy. The battery is replaceable, but it is apparently very difficult to find a new one. My search on Amazon turned up something, but it was no longer available.<\/p>\n

I am currently enquiring with the manufacturer to see if there is anything else available. Other batteries in a similar design can be found, but they have a slightly different voltage. It is also not so easy to see whether they also fit mechanically. In some cases, the description also states that they are explicitly incompatible.<\/p>\n

Well, annoying. In the end, it also shows that replaceable batteries don’t help in the end if they can no longer be supplied.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Rollei Support has also written to me and couldn’t really help me either.<\/p>\n
