SuperDisplay put to the test.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I have a new <a href=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/70320\/review-blackview-zeno-10-android-tablett-mit-viel-zubehoer\/\">Android tablet<\/a>, which I wanted to use as a second monitor. There are various ways to do this, e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/24998\/spacedesk-android-und-ios-tabletts-und-smartphone-als-zweiten-monitor-verwenden\/\">Spacedesk<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/68098\/deskreen-tablet-als-zweitmonitor-ohne-kabel-und-treiber-so-funktionierts\/\">Deskreen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Spacedesk has been causing problems recently; Deskreen works well, but requires some additional hardware. Another alternative is &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/superdisplay.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SuperDisplay<\/a>&#8220;. The display was only recognised via the USB-C connection after I had enabled developer mode on Android. It then worked. The display appears in Windows and can be configured. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_3.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-70381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_3.webp 800w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_3-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_3-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As well as the advantage of the tablet being charged, the connection is fast and stable. There is some lag, but it is within acceptable limits. Touch works, and stylus operation is also possible, provided one is available.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Connection_via_Wi-Fi\"><\/span>Connection via Wi-Fi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Second test: Wi-Fi. For this, we establish the connection via the software. The app on the tablet displays the IP address, which we use to connect.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_4.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"246\" height=\"482\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-70383\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_4.webp 246w, https:\/\/ekiwi-blog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/superdisplay_4-153x300.webp 153w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 246px) 100vw, 246px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It works, but it\u2019s not much fun. In my test, the connection was noticeably slower and laggy. It\u2019s enough for a documentary on a second screen, but it doesn\u2019t really make work enjoyable.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lag_speed_features_conclusion\"><\/span>Lag, speed, features, conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The conclusion depends very much on whether you want to use USB or Wi-Fi. The USB connection works well; Wi-Fi is rather average. Videos also run quite smoothly via USB. It\u2019s enough for a YouTube video playing in the background.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, the app is handy, as you can quickly use your Android device as a second monitor.<\/p>\n<p>People are complaining about the price of 18 euros in the reviews, but I think it\u2019s fair.
