How are the streaming providers doing this year?
JustWatch has once again provided us with the statistics on the market distribution of streaming providers. The development is quite interesting, as the top dogs are all losing market share. Prime Video, Netflix and Disney are losing a few per cent, while the smaller providers such as Apple, Paramount and the ominous others are gaining a little.
There are probably many reasons for this; in the case of Disney, it is probably not least due to the fact that it feels like only rubbish is being produced. At Netflix, perhaps the pricing policy is to blame, who knows.
I also cancelled my Prime subscription because I hardly use it. In the end, the good thing about all these services is that you can book them spontaneously and relatively without obligation at any time. ?
