openSuse Linux install True Type Fonts

Install new fonts in Linux, here’s how!

Fonts are stored in Linux in the folder “/usr/share/fonts“. Here you will find further subfolders, e.g. for TrueType fonts.

Here we copy the font files. Root rights are required for this.

The fonts are then available in other programs such as LibreOffice.
