Briefly noted, the Windows Home variants do not allow extended session in Hyper-V.
In a virtual machine I had the problem that the “Extended Session” is not available. This meant that it was not readily possible, for example, to change the screen resolution by changing the screen size.
In the background, this is achieved by means of RDP, which is not available in the Home version. That’s why the item is stupidly greyed out here. One more reason to use VirtualBox or VMware.
