VirtualBox: Boot from ISO file when operating system installed

How do I boot from an ISO file if an operating system is already installed in the virtual machine?

I wanted to install a second operating system in a virtual machine. So I inserted the ISO file virtually, but how do I boot it? By default, the installed operating system, in my case Windows, is installed preferentially.

The solution is the “ESC” key. This must be pressed quickly during booting. If Windows has already been started, restart it and press the key repeatedly.

We then land in a menu. Here we can select the “Boot Manager”.

Here we now see the connected drives, including the virtual DVD drive.

If we select this drive and press Enter, it will be started.
