Create subtitles and audio transcription with Wondershare Filmora.
I have already presented ways of transcribing a video file here in the blog. Mostly some online service or via YouTube. The results were sometimes like this, sometimes like that. Probably also because my voice always has problems with speech recognition.
I have now realised that my video editing software “Wondershare Filmora” can also do this. Newly labelled as an AI function. All we have to do is right-click on the clip and select “Text-based AI editing”.
The process then starts and at the end we have the transcription of the text. We can now copy this directly and use it for the video description, for example. The recognition works quite well, at least much better than what I have used so far.
We can then use and display the subtitles directly in the video. Cool function.
