Open special screws on electrical appliances.
Electrical appliances are usually fitted with special screws. Not a cross, but a special shape. This is also the case here for a milk frother. Although the chances of a repair are usually slim, at least I like to have a look inside such appliances. Until now, I had a screwdriver and bit set from iFixit. But this is more for the more delicate devices, iPhone, Android.
I bought a set of bits from Mannesmann for the rough stuff. It was reasonably priced at less than 6 euros and contains all kinds of bits for impossible screws on electrical appliances.
The bits also come in small, red protective packaging. Even if it didn’t help with the milk frother, at least it’s good to have something like this to hand for the future.
