How do I enter the @ sign on an English keyboard?
Anyone who installs an operating system, such as ChromeOS, is sometimes punished with an English keyboard layout. Umlauts are missing, and especially when entering your email address, you wonder what the @ sign is like. Here are a few tips:
- English layout (UK): Shift + ‘ (next to Enter)
- US layout: Shift +2
- English layout (Canada): AltGr + 2
- Mac: Alt + L
- Otherwise: ALT + 6 followed by 4 (via number pad)
