“The process cannot be executed because the file is no longer checked out or has been deleted.”
Today I had another nifty Word problem. The starting point was a file checked out in Sharepoint. This was open in Word. Normally, the file can be saved and checked in here again.
However, I always got the following error message:
The operation cannot be performed because the file is no longer checked out or has been deleted.
Closing and reopening Word did nothing. In the end, the solution was not to check in the file via Word, but directly in Sharepoint. Close Word first.
