MoUSO Core Worker Process requires a lot of CPU? What is behind it?
If processes appear in the task manager and require a lot of CPU power, you quickly become nervous. A virus? A Trojan? I recently saw the “MoUSO Core Worker Process” on a computer, which was using a lot of CPU power.
A look at the properties at least shows that the file or process is from Microsoft. Behind it is a service which, as of Windows 10 2004, takes care of the updates and always runs when Windows updates are searched for. The USO stands for “Update Session Orchestrator“.
In this sense, everything is in order and don’t panic.
