Bluetooth connection hangs up, sound problems on Thinkpad

Jerky Bluetooth mouse in Windows? The solution could be to switch to 5Ghz WLAN.

I’ve noticed a few times on my notebook that the Bluetooth connections become a bit unstable when I’m doing a large download from the Internet or pushing larger files over the network.

Sound problems also occur, short noise and dropouts. All this happens when I have the 2.4Ghz connection to my router running and the “line” is virtually full. My guess is that the radio bandwidth is somehow limited here.

The remedy is to switch to the router’s 5Ghz connection. This not only speeds up network access to the NAS, but also eliminates the connection problems.
