Technical data

Let’s start with the technical data. The i5 processor from Intel clocks at up to 4.6 GHz and offers 6 cores, 12 with hyperthreading. This should provide plenty of power under the bonnet. 16 GB of RAM is also good, as is the 1 TB hard drive.

  • Core i5 11500B
  • 16GB DDR4 RAM
  • 1024GB (1TB) SSD
  • Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2
  • 4 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB-C, 2 x HDMI, Ethernet, audio
  • Windows 11 Pro

Another positive aspect is that Windows 11 is installed in the Pro version. The USB ports are all USB 3.0 and a USB-C port is also welcome. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI ports and Ethernet are all on board.

Scope of delivery, workmanship

A power supply unit is included with the computer. You can already see that the PC draws more power than other Mini PC models. An HDMI cable and a small manual are also included.

The PC is solidly built. The case looks sturdy, the plastic looks a little cheap, but the overall impression is good. The audio connection, 2xUSB and 1xUSB-C are located on the front. The remaining connections are on the back. The power switch is at the top. This lights up when the device is in operation and is the only illuminated element of the device.

In operation, Windows 11 Pro, power consumption

After switching on for the first time, we are greeted by the Windows setup. We are ready to go in just a few minutes. As already mentioned, Windows 11 is installed in the Pro version, which means that functions such as Remote Desktop or Bitlocker can also be used.

The PC is quite fast and you can tell that the CPU has plenty of power. The power consumption fluctuates between 30 watts and 80 watts at full load, depending on the workload.

Office, streaming, video editing, software development – none of these are an issue for the device. The fan revs up a little under load, but it remains quiet overall

Benchmark, 3D performance

The benchmark gives the expected picture. The CPU is really fast. In principle, all my tasks would be covered by the performance. I develop software, video editing, office, internet, image processing. None of this is an issue for the CPU.

The only weak point is the 3D performance. The integrated graphics are sufficient for everything, except for demanding 3D tasks such as current games. Older games run without any problems. But the little one is not made for gaming.

Conclusion

Basically, we are dealing here with a very solid and powerful work system. The little one copes well with all tasks. Gaming is just not possible, but that’s where you reach for other systems anyway.

The interfaces are positive and finally a PC with a USB-C interface. Windows 11 Pro is also good.

A perfect system for the home office desk.
